Welcome to HestiaMatch. By accessing or using our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
HestiaMatch enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding objectionable content and abusive behavior. This includes, but is not limited to: sexually explicit material, hate speech, harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, scams, solicitation, and any content that demeans or endangers other users.

Every user has access to in-app reporting and blocking tools on every profile and every conversation. When you block another user, their content is removed from your experience instantly, and the block triggers a moderation review on our side.

HestiaMatch allows users to act as matchmakers for friends and family. When using this feature:

You may sign in to HestiaMatch using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. When you do, the provider sends us your email address, first name, and an opaque user identifier. That is the only information we receive from those providers; we do not request or access photos, contacts, posts, or any other content from your Apple or Google account. No other social media integration (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.) exists in HestiaMatch today.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HestiaMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the French Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
If you reside in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply and are not waived by this clause.
Disputes between consumers and HestiaMatch shall be brought, at the consumer's choice, before:
For users outside the European Union, disputes shall be brought before the Tribunal Judiciaire d'Annecy, without prejudice to mandatory rules of the user's country of residence.
Before initiating court proceedings, consumers residing in the European Union may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform made available by the European Commission at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/, or contact a French consumer mediator (see economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso).

All HestiaMatch premium subscriptions are sold and delivered by Apple Inc. (through the Apple App Store) or Google LLC (through the Google Play Store), each acting as the merchant of record for purchases made on its respective platform. Refund requests for those purchases are handled directly by Apple or Google under their published refund policies. HestiaMatch does not process subscription payments and does not have access to your payment card details.
